How can we make the most of our Care Routines to ensure everyday learning is maximised in nursery life
Research shows that children learn best when they feel safe, secure and special and adults play a pivotal role to ensure this happens. Young children’s emotional well-being and their cognitive development is best supported when they feel well-supported by known and trusted adults, who know and understand them. The aim of this workshop is to discuss how to plan for these early attachments and the importance of care routines. Practitioners will have the opportunity to consider meal and snack times, intimate care routines such as nappy changing and ensuring our environments are set up for rest and sleep.
