Phonics has been identified as a key area for pupils to have a secure grasp of pronunciation and intonation in a new language and one which needs more explicit teaching. Building on the experiences of teachers in teaching phonics in English, at this session we will look at ways of embedding Spanish and French phonics within the curriculum.
