Moderation helps to ensure assessments of children’s learning are accurate and consistent. A supportive process of moderation allows teachers and practitioners to articulate their reasoning and agree what embedded learning looks like.
This termly forum provides a ‘hands-on’ session for teachers and practitioners. Each session will:
• Focus on specific areas of learning
• Provide an opportunity to share observations, photos and other evidence
• Share assessments and reasoning Facilitate dialogue and develop an agreement of accurate assessments for the developmental bands and levels.
The focus of this autumn term moderation session will be on Baseline Assessments and PSE.
