Anyone who needs to have a difficult conversation in school with colleagues, parents, external professionals, people you work closely with but don’t line manage.
Senior leaders, middle leaders, teachers, HLTAs, TAs.
What will you learn?
We’ll give you skills that will let you communicate more effectively in all situations and we’ll focus on the toughest: those difficult conversations that we dread.
You’ll learn how to:
make sure your message is heard (you know what it’s like when someone doesn’t seem to hear what you’re saying)
avoid the biggest mistake that we see at least 70% of people make
keep your conversation on track (and not let those ‘diversion demons’ get the better of you)
stay professional and help the other person to be as well
fix the issue
