Teaching Vocabulary in Small Groups for ages 6 to 11 (Word Aware 3) is a comprehensive, practical and engaging intervention that focuses on teaching curriculum vocabulary and word learning skills to children who have vocabulary learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or those where English is an additional language (EAL).
This training is appropriate for both those schools that use the Word Aware whole school approach AND those wishing to use it as an intervention on its own.
This is a Train the Trainer Senco training; TAs delivering the intervention can attend with the Senco, but not on their own. You will need to buy a copy of Word Aware 3 and bring it with you on the day.
